Free Delivery & Collection

Ask for the hire vehicle to be delivered to and collected from an eligible UK mainland home or workplace address.

The address, access, timing and vehicle must be confirmed. Stations, airports and ports are excluded from standard delivery, as are empty properties where the customer is not registered. Failed, changed or specialist arrangements can incur charges.

Unlimited Rental Mileage

Unlimited mileage is offered on eligible rentals within a 2,800-mile fair-use allowance per calendar month or 28-day period, or pro rata.

Excess miles are charged per mile plus VAT, and higher-mileage terms for company rentals can be arranged in advance. Unlimited mileage does not apply to courier use, which is prohibited.

Entire United Kingdom Coverage

Delivery and collection can be checked for eligible local and long-distance vehicle-hire requests across the UK mainland.

The exact postcode, requested vehicle and date must be checked. Islands and non-mainland movements can require separate arrangements.

European Cover Option

Eligible vehicles may be taken to approved European destinations when permission, insurance and breakdown cover are arranged before departure.

Charges, deposits, documents, vehicle restrictions and country rules apply. One-way hire is limited to UK mainland postcodes, so European one-way hire is not offered.

One Way Vehicle Rental

Selected vehicles can be requested for collection from a different eligible UK mainland location, avoiding an unnecessary return journey.

The start and finish postcodes, vehicle, route and one-way charge must be confirmed before booking. The service is not available for European one-way journeys.

Insurance Is Included

Comprehensive insurance is normally included for eligible named drivers on vehicles up to and including 7.5 tonnes, unless a different arrangement is requested and approved.

Driver approval, excess and exclusions apply. Goods in transit, overhead-height, tyre, windscreen and flood damage are excluded. 18, 26 and 44 tonne vehicles require customer insurance and applicable operator credentials.

Company Own Insurance - 10%

A 10% hire-rate reduction may apply when an acceptable company motor policy provides the required comprehensive cover for the hired vehicle and drivers.

The policy and certificate of insurance must be supplied and approved before delivery, and the customer is responsible for adding the supplied vehicle to the Motor Insurance Database for the hire period. Eligibility depends on the vehicle and proposed use.

Wide Range Available

Representative car, van, minibus and truck groups can be compared, with vehicle suitability and exact specification confirmed for the booking.

Images and model names describe representative classes. The exact make, model, transmission, body and specification are confirmed for the booking.

Specify the load, sites and commercial use

Plan truck hire in Binfield

Before choosing a truck, work through weight, licensing and how the vehicle will be used.

Match vehicle weight to the licence

The truck's maximum weight determines which licence category the driver needs, so compare the two before you commit.

Explain how it will be used

The nature of the job can affect which rules apply, including any operator requirements.

Estimate weight as well as size

A truck can reach its payload limit before it runs out of space, so estimate how heavy the load is.

Check the route ahead

Low bridges, weight limits and tight residential turns matter more in a truck, so plan the roads you will use.

Bringing larger items for an event

Binfield Memorial Hall on Terrace Road South takes bookings for groups, clubs, classes and events, and the hall's operator asks hirers to include setup and clearing-up time in their booking. When a truck is carrying staging or bulky items for an event you have arranged there, build the loading and removal into that reserved period. Agree with the hall how and when a larger vehicle should arrive.

From freight specification to truck allocation

Booking truck hire for Binfield

A truck quote depends on a few specifics worth sorting out first.

  1. 1

    Describe the load

Give the approximate weight and dimensions of the heaviest or largest items.

  2. 2

    Share the driver's licence categories

We need to see which categories the driver holds to compare them with the truck's weight.

  3. 3

State the purpose of the hire

Explain the job so any operator rules that might apply can be discussed before handover.

Truck hire, insurance and operator questions for Binfield

Truck Hire questions
Can I drive a truck on a standard car licence?
It depends on the vehicle's weight and the categories shown on your licence, so check your entitlement against the specific truck rather than assuming.
Do I need an operator's licence?
That depends on the vehicle's weight and how it is used; there is no blanket exemption, so check the official guidance for your circumstances.
How do I know whether I need a truck rather than a van?
If the load is heavier, longer or bulkier than a large van comfortably carries, a truck may be worth considering; share the details and we can compare options.
